I've written professionally for websites and print publications over the past 20 years. The publications who have published my work include:

Society of News Design program for SND-San Jose convention;

Orange County Register: Covered the city of Orange for a weekly publication of the Orange County Register;

Editing

Editing is a daily, integral part for every storyteller. It is my job to cull the story for its main points, edit down these salient points to make densely packed data palatable to the user, whether online or in print:

Copy Editing: I have worked as a copy editor at the Ventura County Star, The Orange County Register, The Riverside Press-Enterprise, The North County Times, The San Gabriel Valley Tribune and the San Jose Mercury News.

Editing: I have been a section editor, assignment editor, wire editor, design editor and publications editors. All of these roles had me making day-to-day decisions on content and style.
